The God of Gods 'Titans'
Origin:
The story of titan comes from Greek mythology. The titan were the pre Olympian gods, As described in the theogony of Hesiod, Titans were the twelve children of primordial parents Uranus(sky) and Gaia( Earth) with six male titan _ Oceanus, Coues, Crius,
Hyperion, Lapetus and Cronus. Also the six female titans named Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe and Tethys.
Cronus mated with his older sister Rhea who then gave birth to the first generation of Olympians. The six Sibling Naming Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Demeter and Hera.
Interesting fact:
In our Solar System Saturn is the biggest planet and what's interesting is that Saturn is actually named as an Roman equivalent of the " Titan Cronus". Saturn's largest moon 'Titan' is basically named after the titans and the other moons are are named after the individual titans naming Tethys, Phoebe, Rhea, Hyperion and Lapetus.
As the legend of titans has lots of stories, We will look upon the dark side in a future post.
